2022 Fidelco Calendar Contest Winners

Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation invites you participate in our 2022 calendar photo contest! Select your favorite photos for the 2022 Fidelco calendar by voting. The winners are determined by number of votes. $1 is 1 Vote! There's no limit on how many times people can vote. The top 12 winning photos will be considered for inclusion in Fidelco's 2022 calendar.*

Voting is open between Monday, August 9, 2021 through Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Spread the word about the contest to friends, family, coworkers and anyone you can think of and ask them to support your entry by voting for your dog's picture. It's up to you to spread the word, encourage people to vote by donation- all while supporting Fidelco Guide Dogs.

The voting proceeds are all tax-deductible donations to Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. All votes must be paid for via the secure check out system with GiveSmart; you will receive a tax receipt by email when your transaction is complete.

Fidelco Photo Contest Submission Rules

Submissions accepted until July 30, 2021. 

1. Photos must be of a Fidelco dog (puppy, guide dog- working or retired, breed dog, or career changed dog).

2. Photos can only contain dogs- no people.

3. Photos need to be high-resolution digital files to be considered for a full months image (suggested resolution is 3400x2500 pixels, and 300dpi).

-File formats accepted are .JPG, .PNG, and, .HEIC.

-Photos of lower resolution may be combined with other photo entries or may not be approved for the contest.

-Please include the following information for each submission: Dog's name, person's name, phone number, email address, and full-size image as an attachment.

-Photos may also be texted to 860-987-9897.

4. Fidelco chooses which photos enter the contest.

5. Contest participants are responsible for ensuring they have the right to submit photos. By submitting a photo you affirm you are the photographer or have been given unrestricted use permission by the photographer.

*In order to be considered for inclusion in the Fidelco calendar, a high-resolution horizontal (landscape orientation) digital file of the winning photo must be available to send to Fidelco at the close of the contest. (A high resolution file is 8 megapixels or larger - cell phone photos may not qualify.) If for some reason the winning photo does not meet the calendar formatting criteria, Fidelco will work with the winner to highlight the photo in another Fidelco platform, and/or arrange to use a different photo of the same dog(s) that would meet the criteria.
